Day Motorsports Featured Driver: Stephan Danielsen Eyeing to be King!

There is a Factory Stock Driver from Corpus Christi, Texas known as the South Texas Grave Digger. His name is Stephan Danielsen, Stephan drives the number 149 and has been racing since 1982 and has amassed much success with feature wins as well as Championships.

Next week Danielsen will be making the 7 hour long haul to Boothill Speedway for the 10th Annual $10,000 King Of The Hill, the #149 finished 12th at the 8th Annual edition of the $10,000 to win.

Stephan’s favorite race track is his home race track, The South Texas Race Ranch where he won the 2010 South Texas Street Stock Shootout. Stephan says his goals for the King Of The Hill next week at Boothill Speedway is to get into the show, “if you get in the show anything is possible from there”. South Texas Race Ranch has been the only racing destination so far in 2024 for the #149 Outlaw Race Car Factory Stock, the 2024 campaign has featured one win and Stephan currently sits 2nd in Factory Stock Points at the Race Ranch.

When speaking of the long haul to Boothill, Stephan said “The drive there is easy, it’s the 7 hour drive back that really sucks”.Tune in next week to the 10th Annual King Of The Hill to see if the South Texas Grave Digger can make some noise in the Boot.
